Vertical sliding windows, also known as sash windows, bring a timeless design that adds elegance and character to any home. uPVC vertical sliding sash windows offer that same enduring appeal with none of the drawbacks of traditional timber.
Timber Look, uPVC Performance: The appeal of a vertical sliding window lies in combining a traditional profile with modern functionality. Unlike genuine timber sashes, ours are crafted from uPVC, which holds its performance for years with far less upkeep.
Durability: uPVC resists warping, rotting and corrosion, helping windows remain in good condition for years, even in Ireland’s unpredictable weather.
Energy Efficiency: double-glazed panes provide thermal insulation that keeps a home warm in winter and cool in summer, helping to lower energy bills and pairs well with our Triple Glazing option for even stronger performance.
Low Maintenance: Unlike timber sashes, uPVC vertical sliding windows require minimal maintenance. Regular cleaning with a damp cloth helps keep them looking their best.
Windows should complement each home’s unique style, which is why we offer a wide range of customisation options for vertical sliding windows.
Hardware: Choose from traditional and modern hardware finishes to complement your property.
Georgian Bars: Add further elegance and period character to the window.
Enhanced Security: When paired with toughened glass, the locking mechanisms used across our range help vertical sliding windows provide a high level of security.
Easy Ventilation: The sliding mechanism allows the windows to open easily, letting in fresh air and creating a more comfortable indoor environment.
Simple Cleaning: Both sashes tilt inwards for easy access to the interior and exterior glass surfaces, helping keep the windows looking their best.
For a different period-style option, our Bay Windows range is also worth considering, our Tilt and Turn Windows range offers a different ventilation approach, or explore our Aluminium Vertical Sliding Windows for a slimmer aluminium frame.
