We lovingly craft our pieces by hand and only use the latest technology.
Choosing pine aluclad windows means you can trust the durability of weather-exposed areas because each piece is made with a high heartwood content. The heartwood absorbs significantly less moisture than sapwood, and its natural “self-impregnation” extends its lifespan. We strive to provide an optimal base for surface treatment by removing knots and finger joints from the wood.
To protect the wood against decay, we apply an environmentally conscious primer and surface treatment. This method fully aligns with the current standards set by the Danish Window Industry’s technical regulations, which in Denmark, represent the established foundation for crafting windows.
By blending timber and aluminium for window profiles, a range of benefits emerge. Inside, the windows present themselves as entirely conventional timber designs. Externally, the elements also resemble traditional timber windows. However, the outer faces of the frames are fitted with aluminium profiles.
These aluminium profiles offer durable protection to the underlying timber, which is primed and surface-treated like other timber elements we provide. Simultaneously, they possess the significant advantage of requiring minimal upkeep, needing only cleaning, perhaps when you’re already washing the windows.
The aluminium profiles feature a powder-coated finish and are offered in nine standard colors. If you require, we can supply special colors at an extra cost. This solution can also be configured with specialised sound-reducing windows.
Ireland sees 750 – 1 400 mm of rain a year and frequent Atlantic gales. The aluminium shell shrugs off moisture, salt spray and wind-blown debris, while the timber core stays dry and stable.
New windows must hit a U-value ≤ 1.6 W/m²K. Typical aluclad units reach 0.8 – 1.2 W/m²K, boosting BER scores and SEAI grant eligibility.
Unlike bare timber, the powder-coated aluminium never needs repainting. An occasional wash keeps it looking new, ideal for busy homeowners and coastal rentals.
Aluminium alone conducts cold; the insulated timber core in aluclad blocks heat loss, cutting winter draughts and bills.
Timber stores carbon; aluminium is fully recyclable. Independent lifecycle studies rank aluminium-clad timber among the lowest-impact frame types.
The dense wood-aluminium sandwich dampens traffic noise better than hollow PVC, supporting Ireland’s tighter urban sound-insulation goals.

The main reason of the using aluclad windows is external aluminium coating. The aluminium cladding protects the underlying timber from the elements including rain UV radiation and extreme temperatures which overall increase the life of the window and reduces the external maintenance painting and staining.
Our aluminium is usually finished with tough powder coating in a wide range of RAL colors, providing a vast choice for external styling. We do have anodized finishes for certain looks that enhances corrosion resistance, particularly uses in harsh environments like coastal areas.

Aluclad windows are a type of window made from a combination of aluminum on the outside and wood on the inside. The exterior aluminum layer provides durability and weather resistance, while the wooden interior offers warmth and aesthetic appeal.
Yes, Aluclad windows are worth it. Becuase aluclad windows combine the durability and low maintenance benefits of aluminum with the aesthetic warmth of wood on the interior. The outer aluminum frame is resistant to weathering, corrosion, and fading, providing long-term protection and durability. On the inside, the wooden finish enhances the aesthetic appeal, offering a natural and warm look.
Aluminum provides high strength, is lightweight, and has excellent resistance to the elements, while wood offers excellent insulation properties, keeping your home comfortable. These windows also offer better energy efficiency than traditional single-material windows, helping to reduce heating and cooling costs. They are also more sustainable in the long term due to their lifespan and minimal maintenance needs.
Aluclad windows in Ireland typically cost between €700 and €1,500 per unit, depending on factors such as glazing type, frame size, and customization options.

Aluclad windows typically last between 30 to 40 years with proper maintenance, thanks to their durable aluminum exterior and the protection offered by the wooden interior.
No, Aluclad windows do not rot because the exterior is made of aluminum, which is highly resistant to moisture and weathering. However, the wooden interior can be susceptible to rot if not properly maintained, such as with regular sealing and protection from moisture.
