Vertical sliding windows, also known as sash windows, feature a timeless design that adds elegance and character to a home. uPVC vertical sliding sash windows offer the enduring appeal of traditional timber sash windows without their associated drawbacks.
Timber Look, uPVC Performance: The appeal of a vertical sliding window lies in its combination of a traditional profile and modern functionality. Unlike traditional timber sashes, our windows are made from uPVC, which requires less maintenance while maintaining its performance over time.
Durability: uPVC resists warping, rotting and corrosion, helping windows remain in good condition despite Ireland’s unpredictable weather.
Energy Efficiency: double-glazed panes provide thermal insulation that keeps a home warm in winter and cool in summer, helping to lower energy bills and pairs well with our Triple Glazing option for even stronger performance.
Low Maintenance: Unlike timber sash windows, uPVC vertical sliding windows require minimal maintenance. Regular cleaning with a damp cloth helps keep them looking their best.
Windows should complement the unique style of each home. That’s why we offer a wide range of customisation options for our vertical sliding windows.
Hardware: Choose from a range of traditional and modern hardware finishes to complement your property.
Georgian Bars: Add elegance and traditional character to your windows.
Enhanced Security: The locking mechanisms used across our range, combined with toughened glass, help improve the security of vertical sliding windows.
Easy Ventilation: The sliding mechanism allows the windows to open smoothly, letting in fresh air and helping create a more comfortable indoor environment.
Simple Cleaning: Both sashes tilt inwards, providing easy access to the interior and exterior glass surfaces and helping to keep the windows looking their best.
For a different period-style option, our Bay Windows range is also worth considering, our Tilt and Turn Windows range offers a different ventilation approach, or explore our Aluminium Vertical Sliding Windows for a slimmer aluminium frame.
